RESEARCH
Brand New Look and Experience
We always wanted to improve the usability of the Test Pilot site. Hence, I initiated a comprehensive redesign plan covering the interaction design and the brand new look. According to the interview study, I reviewed the information architecture and created an overview for redesign. Also, I synthesized three design challenges for critical improvements.
Each challenge represented a critical problem theme. I designed three distinct workshops to brainstorm ideas to answer each question.

WORKSHOP 1
Support User's Daily Workflow
In the 90-minutes workshop, I asked the team to depict the journey map as a warm-up. Next, I reframed insights as How Might We question to turn the challenges into opportunities for design. Then, the team brain-writing for ideas. Based on these ideas, the team sketched solutions.

WORKSHOP 2
Emphasize How-to Content for Users
We played an activity called "Grab bag" as a warm-up. After that, the team brain-writing based on the How Might We question. At last, the team took items from "Grab bag" as references, and used the prepared pieces of elements or sketched new representations to address the information one thought matters.

WORKSHOP 3
Seamless Feedback channel
The workshop opened with an icebreaker game - 2 Truths and a lie. Next, the team still brain-writing for ideas. Last but not least, the group divided into three small crowds and came up with storyboards or sketches as products for other teams to negotiate an excellent price to acquire.
CONCLUSION
Redesign and Iteration
Based on these workshops, I redesigned and proposed new interaction design, including the homepage, detail page, experiment cards, and responsive design. Also, I planned the schedule and action items for a visual refresh which owned by Peko Chen, the visual designer.
